Fred
Alan Wolf, Ph.D. works as a physicist, writer, and lecturer. His work in
quantum physics and consciousness is well known through his popular and
scientific writing.
He is the author of fourteen
books and audio book CD’s including his latest works:
The Yoga of Time Travel,
Dr.
Quantum’s Little Book of Big Ideas, the audio CD series
Dr. Quantum Presents: A User’s Guide to Your
Universe and
Dr. Quantum Presents:
Meet the Real Creator: You.
Wolf’s
inquiring mind has delved into the relationship between human consciousness,
psychology, physiology, the mystical, and the spiritual.
His investigations have taken him from
intimate discussions with physicist David Bohm to the magical and mysterious
jungles of
Peru, from master
classes with Nobel Laureate Richard Feynman to shamanic journeys on the high
deserts of
Mexico,
from a significant meeting with Werner Heisenberg to the hot coals of a
firewalk.
In
academia, Dr. Wolf has challenged minds at
San Diego
State
University,
the
University of
Paris, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the
University of
London’s
Birkbeck
College, and many other institutions of
higher learning.
Wolf is best known for
his contributions through technical papers and popular books, but he is
frequently in demand as a lecturer, keynote speaker, and consultant to industry
and the media.
Dr.
Wolf is well known for his simplification of the new physics and the author of
Taking
the Quantum Leap which, in 1982, was the recipient of the prestigious
National Book Award for Science.
Dr.
Wolf lectures, researches, and teaches worldwide.
He is an honored member of the Martin Luther
King, Jr. Collegium of Scholars and has taught courses at the Philosophical
Research Society and the Holmes Institute.
He
has been interviewed on several radio and television programs including New
Dimensions Radio, Western Public Radio, National Public Radio, and many
others.
He was the visiting
scholar/scientist-in-residence in the
Pacific Northwest
sponsored by The Institute for Science, Technology, and Public Policy during
the spring season, 1994.
He has spoken
numerous times before
The Commonwealth
Club of San Francisco,
The
Smithsonian Museum
Sightings,

The Thinking Allowed Television Series, and
The Malone show.
in Washington, DC, and several other prominent
organizations and been interviewed on a number of television shows between the
years 1995 to the present including
Dr.
Wolf is acknowledged to be an expert on the subject of time travel and quantum
physics and has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows talking about his ideas
to wide ranging audiences including the nationally syndicated PBS series
“Closer to Truth.” He has appeared as the resident physicist on the Discovery
channel’s show “The Know Zone” and has appeared numerous times on the
nationally syndicated night talk radio show “Coast to Coast AM.”
He currently appears in the released (2003)
Special Collectors Edition of the Paramount Studio DVD movie “Star Trek IV on
Disc 2 “Time Travel: The art of the possible.”
He also appears in the released (2004) full length feature film staring
Oscar winner Marlee Matlin, “What The #$*! Do We Know?” and “Down the Rabbit
Hole” produced by Lord of the Wind Productions and in the recently released
movie “The Secret” produced by Prime Time Productions
He
won the National Book Award for his
Taking
the Quantum Leap and has written many other books and recorded two audio
CD’s sets:
